1971 Dodge Challenger R/T

Want a nice ’71 Challenger RT?

How about one that’s been beautifully restored and is even more fun to drive?!

Sure, it’s head turning, it’s low, it’s 440 car… That’s worth appreciating on its own…. The devil is in the details, though!

The current owner took this former Barret Jackson car, and has done an excellent job modernizing how it drives.

Instead of a 4-speed, it is equipped with a Tremec Magnum 6-speed, like what you’d find in a Viper! The factory shifter and location are even retained in this swap.

The motor was converted to Holley EFI for better startups and drivability and has been upgraded with a mild Comp cam as well as a set of 440 Source “Stealth” aluminum heads for extra power.

Willwood hydraulic disk brakes help keep all the 440’s torque at bay.

Even the steering was recently revised in favor of a higher turning ratio version.

Best of all, this Challenger has AC to keep cool, allowing you to enjoy it on warm summer days.

The chassis is in great shape, and there are only around 10,000 miles on this restoration. While originally a Blue on Blue 383 car, the intention was to stand out from the pack. The exterior was revised to a Bright Blue Metallic, and several small factory touches were revised to give the car a more vibrant look. It sits stunningly on a staggered set of chrome Coys wheels.

The interior was restored over the last year, with new seats, carpet, and year-correct dashboard. Even small touches such as the factory gauge cluster have been attended to; silk screening the faces, converting to modern electronics, and upgrading the clock to Quartz movement.

If you’re looking for a car that still needs work, this isn’t the Challenger for you. Leave this for someone who wants the freedom to hop-in and drive a piece of art. Get in touch with us and bring this car home to your garage today!
